Day Services

Day Services are provided during the day at a program site in the community and often include personal care services, skilled services such as nursing, as well as community living skill development and self-management skill development services to assist individuals in maintaining their independence.

Adult Day Health

Adult Day Health (ADH) includes assistance with self-care, nursing, therapeutic services, recreation, nutrition, and transportation to the program. The program serves adults who need help with one or more activities of daily living (ADLs), like bathing, dressing, and eating. MassHealth will cover up to 6 days a week of Adult Day Health.

Day Habilitation

Day Habilitation (DH) is a structured treatment program designed to meet the goals and objectives of the individuals served in the program. The program can help to build skills, improve functionality, facilitate independent living, and develop self-management skills. It serves adults eligible for MassHealth with an intellectual or developmental disability. Day Habilitation is covered by MassHealth.

Day Supports

Day Supports are supports that help individuals to build and maintain their ability to participate in community activities by focusing on important skill areas. Day Supports are available to individuals with intellectual disabilities through the Department of Developmental Services.
